FMIC Upgrades will soon be a common modification - at which point the factory unit mounted below the main radiator will be rendered useless, taking up space, weight and collecting debris in the small end tanks.Removing the factory FMIC opens up quite a bit of usable space, reduces weight. Unfortunately - removing the small intercooler means losing support for the radiator above thus requiring alternative mounts.
cp-e™ now has a basic yet versatile solution to removing your factory intercooler.
The design features strong laser cut and bent steel brackets which ensure a sturdy and very precise mounting solution for the radiator assembly.
The replacement mount also incorporates mounts for various coolers to take advantage of the open space: a power steering cooler and an oil cooler.
The IC Replacement kit comes in various configurations:
The basic kit - includes brackets and hardware necessary for removing the factory IC and installing the cp-e™ solution.
With the Power Steering cooler - includes power steering cooler, extended oil lines and necessary hardware to replace the factory unit. The bigger, more efficient cooler will be a good upgrade for the vehicle.
With the Oil cooler - includes the oil cooler, fittings and oil hoses. This can be a very useful addition for higher horsepower or race applications. With this kit Genesis Coupe owners will have a safe, effective place to mount the oil cooler. (Requires an oil filter adapter plate for oil routing)

and paperwork) to receive a refund, please note shipping and
handling costs are not refundable.
Shop SFM does not accept returns on used items, custom made or
custom-painted products or items shipped via truck freight.
International orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless the
item is defective or in the case of an error on our part. Shop SFM
will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any
circumstances. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee,
plus any shipping charges. Any credit card or online order that is
cancelled prior to shipment will be charge at least 5% transaction
fee. Orders placed using PayPal must pass an inspection before any
credit will be issued.
